📍Branding Basics

In case you’re new here, I’m an entrepreneur who got my start in mechanical engineering and operations management.

I transitioned from Corporate America to start my own for-profit and nonprofit businesses, using social media to market myself and my brands online.

I didn’t always have a desire to pursue entrepreneurship, but as the Bible says,

God’s ways are higher than our ways.

Isaiah 55:9

I was inspired by God to pursue my passion to start my own brands and businesses, using my knowledge and experience from college of branding and marketing online.

If you have a mission and a vision to pursue your passions, online branding and marketing is a great place to start!

Showcasing my art, skills, and abilities online afforded me opportunities to travel abroad, connect with people around the world, and share my art to strangers who have now become friends. I don’t think I would have had the same opportunities had I limited my vision and chosen the “safe” route.

Trusting in God and pursuing my passions led me here, and branding and marketing myself on social media allowed me the opportunity to generate 7 streams of revenue online.

📍Audience Building

When I started branding myself online, I built my own personal website.

As you can probably tell, I’m a fashion girl with a passion for helping others, so creating my own website was a great investment for my personal brand.

After I built my own website, I migrated onto Instagram to showcase my love for fashion and helping others.

Understanding my vision and purpose helped me connect better to my audience, establishing trust with my new online community.

By understanding the social media algorithm and posting helpful and encouraging blog posts, images, and inspirational messages online, my audience grew, and my reach expanded.

Building my own personal brand was the launch pad of success for my other brands and businesses built later.

After my audience began to grow, they got to know me better, and doors of financial growth and multiplied streams of revenue opened up.

Before I started making money through my brands and businesses online, I started out with a business plan.

My knowledge and wisdom from my professional experience in engineering and operations management helped me structure my brands for sustainability.

Limited cash flow can only take you so far, so in order to sustain your business, you have to know what you are most skilled in.

I didn’t get my start into managing and running my own brands and businesses by happenstance.

I was given a vision and a purpose by God to pursue the things I was called to do.
