Woman of the Month: Alexandra Wilson

This month, I am celebrating another awesome woman who is doing great things in the community. This young lady’s desire to help and motivate women is inspiring. She is an entrepreneur here in the Austin community, with her own branding and consulting company called Queens Conquer.

My hope is that you will read her interview and be inspired by her outlook on life.

Introducing, Alexandra Wilson:

Q: Give us your name, and tell us 3 words that describe you and why.

A: Alexandra Wilson.

Faithful: I may not know how it will all work out, but I trust God to guide me every step of the way. I believe that my purpose is to serve and share my story to empower others to overcome adversity because there’s beauty in the struggle.

Initiative: Once I see the bigger picture, I’m already asking myself how do I get there? What are the next steps to take in order to create the vision? Even though, I allow God to do His work, I don’t wait for anything to just “happen.” I work hard and pray harder. Team Work Makes The Dream Work.

Resilience: I’ve endured adversity throughout my journey, but I never let that make or break me. Everything I have been through has simply made me stronger and wiser.

Q: What do you feel you are here in the world to do?

A: I feel I’m here to be a motivator, to share my story of how God has used me to show others that life is a journey filled with adversity, unforgettable experiences and limitless opportunities as long as we trust our journey.

Q: What is your organization, profession or business?

A: My business is called Queens Conquer, a branding and consulting company for women in business. Queens Conquer is a movement that empowers women to use their voice and create what they wish to see exist by using their divine gifts. We are a voice for women in business, mentors for the youth and servants to the community. We are fearless women who strive to leave a legacy of breaking barriers for generations to come.

Q: What gives you the motivation to do what you do? Who and what inspires you?

A: I was inspired to create Queens Conquer to give women in business a starting point. It can be overwhelming executing your ideas, especially being a solo-entrepreneur. The hardest part is getting started, so I wanted to provide women with the support and opportunity to conquer their dreams by offering one-on-one branding consultations and public relations services to build awareness to their business and/or organization.

I was raised by resilient and fearless women such as my mother and grandmother who paved the way for me to conquer what lies ahead by remaining true to my purpose and leading with love.

Q: What is some advice you can give to women reading this interview?

A: Everyone’s journey will look different, remain focused and keep your blinders on. Don’t compare yourself to someone else’s highlight reel. Entrepreneurship isn’t glamorous. Be open for change and growth. Trust your journey and know that it will fall in place , right on time. Everything you’re going through is preparing your for your blessings. Conquer your doubts, insecurities and fears!
