Today I have another #TechTuesdays post for you!
Today I’ll be sharing with you guys some of the gadgets and accessories that I use for my DSLR camera. I’ve had my Nikon D3100 DSLR camera for about 5-6 years now, and it has served me well – no complaints! The gadgets and accessories I’ll be mentioning in today’s post can be used for any digital camera.
If you’re interested in learning what cool gadgets and accessories I use to help with capturing shots, keep on reading.
1. Wifi Memory Card
The Eyefi Mobi Wifi Memory Card is the best thing that was ever invented for my generation when it comes to photography, because it allows you to download photos straight from your DLSR camera to your smartphone.
This device is literally the only memory card I use because it makes it so easy to upload photos for editing.
I use my IPhone most of the time to edit photos, so being able to take shots with my Nikon camera and upload them straight to my smartphone in seconds is simply amazing!
Amazon in my opinion has the best deals on electronics, so if you’re looking for holiday gifts for family and friends who love photography or anything technical, a wifi memory card would make an awesome gift:
2. Remote Control for DSLR Cameras
Back in the day, I use to have a fashion blog where I posted different outfit of the day shots I took myself. I was able to take my own photos using my Nikon camera by using a remote control.
With a remote control, you can capture shots remotely, thus allowing you to be your own photographer! You don’t have to be a pro at photography in order to creatively experiment with different photography tools and gadgets. If you love taking photos, I would highly suggest getting a remote control for your camera. A camera remote control would make another awesome Christmas gift for someone on your list without breaking the bank!
3. Camera Tripod
Another great tool that helps me capture my own shots without the hassle is a tripod.
In my opinion, a camera tripod is one of the most essential tools you can have for your camera. If you want to stick to the standard way of taking photos, I would suggest getting a standard camera tripod with stable and robust extendable legs. You want to make sure that the tripod you select is sturdy enough to hold your DSLR camera without the risk of falling.
If you are more on the adventurous side, I would highly suggest getting a flexible tripod – one that would allow you to take pictures on any surface.
