Today I’ll be sharing with you guys some of my healthy hair and skin tips.

With that being said, let’s dive into my healthy hair and skin tips to help you combat this upcoming winter season:
Starting with my natural hair regimen, the secret to shiny and healthy hair is oil! Yes, I know many of you may already know this fact, but for those of you who may be new to the healthy hair world, oil is a girl’s true best friend. So on my scalp, I use coconut oil about once a week to protect my scalp from dryness. Moisturizing and massaging the scalp increases circulation, which increases hair growth. I sometimes use coconut oil to seal my ends as well. This helps with length retention and prevents split ends.
Healthy Skin: Daytime
When it comes to taking care of my skin in the morning, I use almond oil all over my body right after showering. I sometimes use coconut oil on the spots where I have dark marks, (coconut oil has healing properties). As a facial moisturizer, I’ve used argan oil and it works great for oily skin. Jojoba oil is a great facial moisturizer for acne-prone skin.
Healthy Skin: Nighttime
This is for my oily girls! When it comes to my nighttime routine, I always use an oil on my face right after cleansing. I naturally have oily skin, and using oil on my skin at night balances my skin’s oil production process. I do this because my skin is naturally oily during the day because it lacks moisture. By putting moisture back into my skin every night, my skin is less oily throughout the day.
