What are you fighting? What are you up against?
When the enemy tells you no, but God tells you yes, who do you listen to?
Who do you trust the most? The enemy in the circumstances outside of you, or the God and the knowing that’s within you?
These are questions I believe we all face, or at times in our lives will face. When a closed door seems like a failed opportunity, or an open door seems so impossible to go through that you clam up and become afraid to go through it.
What do you do?
I’ll tell you what you do, you remember all the struggles, all the difficulties, and all the hard times God has brought you through. You remember when it seemed impossible for God to do a good thing and he did it for you. You remember that if God is for you, who can be against you.
You see, life is an ever unfolding mystery. It bends and folds in ways that we are not privy to, until it’s unfolding. We are unaware of things unseen are are often surprised and taken aback by things we do see. What do we do when the things that we do see contradict the things that God sees?
We listen, we wait, and we trust that when God says yes to a thing- it is a yes indeed. We trust and understand that no matter what the outside looks like and/or tells us, that if God is in a thing- then we are sure to win. That if God sees a good thing in the midst of our difficult situation- then it is a good thing indeed.
“What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him“- 1 Corinthians 2:9
