Microsoft YouthSpark

On Saturday, February 27, 2016, I attended a Microsoft  YouthSpark event on the east-side of Houston at Cesar Chavez High School. I was introduced to the program event through Volunteer Houston. (If you are unfamiliar with Volunteer Houston, check out my related blog post: “Looking for Volunteer Opportunities in Houston?“).

This was my first time volunteering with Microsoft YouthSpark and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.  It was exciting getting to see how many great kids are interested in STEM related career fields. What a way to give back!

Kudos to the teams over at Microsoft and Volunteer Houston for setting up such an amazing event.
